The Black Christian Single’s Guide to Dating

Most singles in the world are looking for love and romance – especially within their own culture and religion. This is also true of black Christian singles. This is because your culture and your faith play an important role in terms of who you are selecting for a mate. Usually, the way you were raised by your church and family influences your views on dating. Some people grew up believing that it’s ideal to date and marry someone from their race or culture, while others were taught otherwise. As a black Christian, there are several ways for you to approach this issue.

First, consider if you want to limit your dating arena to blacks or Christians. When thinking about interracial dating, be aware that you may have more options if you look outside your own race. However, if you’re used to dating people of other races, consider dating within your race. Whatever you choose, be sure to pray to God for guidance first and to consult your friends, family, and the members of your church.

As for dating people from other religions, keep in mind that God wants you to be “equally yoked” with people of the same faith. This may cover people form different denominations, but it is the Lord’s preference that we marry or go out with people who are also believers. So when you go out on your search for other black singles, you might want to stick to other Christians. This ensures that the spiritual foundation of your relationship will be coming from the same place.

When it comes to your search for dates, there are so many places you can try to find other black single Christians like yourself. You can start with your own church. However, most singles are wary of dating within their church because it’s such a tight-knit community. This means that their dating life will be under the watchful eye of the members of their church. If this is true in your case, you might want to try participating in events and activities from other churches. You should also look into local Christian groups that aren’t based in a single church only. This will help widen your circle – allowing you to meet new friends who might introduce you to dating prospects, or who might be potential dates themselves.

The important thing to remember as a single black Christian is that God is on your side. Through prayer, He will be able to help you with your dating life. In a way, God is the ultimate dating guide! For it is through his guidance that we meet the mate intended for us, and it is within his plan that we form the sacred bond of marriage.
